What is a partial eclipse?
A partial solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, but only partially blocks the Sun's light. This means the Sun appears to have a dark shadow on only a part of its surface. It's less dramatic than a total eclipse but still causes noticeable environmental changes.
