Passenger jet damaged during take-off at Munich Airport

A Vietnam Airlines flight with 271 passengers and 16 crew clipped runway lights during take-off from Munich Airport on Saturday. The plane's nose lifted with only 91 metres of runway left, causing a loud bang and warnings of a tail strike and tyre damage. It returned to Munich two hours later, landing with four blown tyres, but nobody was hurt.
