Ireland Sets Up Body to Plan for a Possible United Ireland
Graphic: BriefTea
Ireland's Taoiseach Micheál Martin says his government will set up a new body to research possible futures for the island, including a united Ireland. It will study three options: a single all-island state, a united Ireland keeping a devolved Northern Ireland, and the current link with Britain. Martin plans to take first proposals to cabinet before Christmas, stressing evidence over partisan campaigning and one-sided advocacy.
