Labour won the St James's ward by-election on Dudley Council by just two votes, with Caroline Reid taking 874 votes to Reform UK's Chris Chivers on 872 after a recount. Restore Britain's candidate won 159 votes, prompting Reform deputy leader Richard Tice to post 'Vote Restore get Labour'. Rupert Lowe hit back, telling Reform to focus on the 11 per cent it lost in Dudley.
