Nigel Farage has called for the Royal Navy to stop small boat crossings after footage showed a dinghy painted in the colours of the Kurdish flag leaving De Panne beach in Belgium. About 20 to 25 people were on board while Belgian police appeared to watch without stepping in. Farage said smuggling gangs were 'laughing at us'. It was unclear whether the boat reached Britain.
