George Santos gets Kalshi's first ever lifetime trading ban

Former US congressman George Santos has been permanently banned from the prediction market platform Kalshi and fined $71,356. The ban follows a federal investigation into allegations he profited from bets on his own attendance at a State of the Union address. Santos, expelled from Congress in 2023, mocked the company on X after the decision.
