Who organises the Ballon d'Or?
The Ballon d'Or is organised by France Football, a French weekly football magazine. They created the award in 1956 for male players and later introduced the women's equivalent. Unlike some other awards, it's not run by FIFA or UEFA, though it did have a brief partnership with FIFA from 2010 to 2015.
