What is a lunar occultation?

A lunar occultation happens when the Moon passes in front of a celestial object, blocking it from our view. In September, the Moon will hide the Beehive Cluster, a group of stars, for a short time. It's like a mini eclipse, but with the Moon covering a star cluster instead of the Sun.
