Vladimir Putin says Russia and North Korea are coordinating on regional security

The Russian leader sent his message to mark the anniversary of Japan's colonial rule ending across the Korean peninsula. State media published the update on Saturday, shortly after Kim visited a monument in the capital thanking Soviet troops for their role in the Second World War. Volodymyr Zelenskiy, the Ukrainian president, accuses North Korea of sending Moscow weapons, ammunition and extra soldiers for the ongoing conflict.
