US intelligence assessments suggest China is preparing to deliver new air defence systems to Iran within the coming weeks, CNN reported, citing three people familiar with the intelligence. China denied the claim, saying it has 'never provided weapons to any party to the conflict' and urged the US to stop making 'baseless allegations.' The report emerged as US-Iran talks got under way in Islamabad.
