Union backs British player Tara Moore in tennis legal battle
The Professional Tennis Players Association has thrown its support behind British player Tara Moore’s £14.7m lawsuit against the WTA. Moore alleges the governing body was negligent by failing to warn athletes about meat contamination risks in Bogota, which led to her four-year doping ban. The breakaway union’s legal partners are representing the doubles specialist on a pro bono basis, arguing she faced unfair treatment compared to higher-profile stars.
