Cristiano Ronaldo has been given a 30-day suspension and fined €255, about £215, by Portugal's football federation for walking out of the national squad last month. The 41-year-old captain left after learning he would not start against Denmark. Because the ban is backdated to 1 October, he will not miss any matches. Officials said they took into account his apology and his record-breaking international career.
