Toddlers evacuated from Port Talbot school after fire breaks out

A fire at Awel Y Mor Primary School in Port Talbot on Wednesday morning led to the safe evacuation of children attending a Lots of Tots holiday club. Multiple fire crews extinguished the blaze, which started in sandwich panels of the school building, by around 12.45pm. The holiday club is to be called off for the remainder of the week while staff evaluate the damage.
