Chelsea captain Reece James has had successful surgery on a knee injury he picked up in training before last weekend's 5-1 win over Bournemouth. The 26-year-old England defender is now in rehabilitation with the club's medical staff, and no return date has been given. Chelsea face Everton, Tottenham and Manchester United in their next league games, while England host Croatia at Wembley in early November.
