Three more companies to leave London Stock Exchange in £3bn takeovers

Three London Stock Exchange-listed companies, Bodycote, Gamma Communications, and Capricorn, plan to be taken private in deals worth over £3bn. US firm Veritas Capital is acquiring metallurgy business Bodycote for £1.9bn, a 41.4% premium over its average share price. Telecoms provider Gamma accepted a £1.1bn bid from UK private equity firm Epiris, while energy firm Capricorn is being bought by Norwegian rival DNO.
