Thomas Partey faces additional rape charges ahead of trial

Former Arsenal and Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has been charged with additional counts of rape, according to UK prosecutors. The new charges relate to an alleged incident in 2020 involving a fourth complainant, bringing the total number of women in the case to four. Partey had already denied five rape charges and one sexual assault charge linked to incidents between 2021 and 2022. He is due to appear in court in March over the new counts, with his main trial scheduled for November.
