Sir Jim Ratcliffe praises Michael Carrick's excellent United work
Fans hope for Champions League qualification as Manchester United shows a significant upturn in form under their current coach. Co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe told Sky Sports News the 44-year-old, who took over after Ruben Amorim was sacked in January, is doing "an excellent job." However, he would not commit to a permanent role, even though United won six of eight matches and accrued more Premier League points than any other side.
