People earning extra money from side hustles such as selling on Vinted, dog walking, tutoring or delivery driving will be able to make £3,000 a year tax-free, Chancellor John Healey announced. The trading allowance triples from £1,000 from April 2027. Healey also unveiled a new founders' relief, cutting the tax on business owners' share sales to just 10% on the first £10m of lifetime gains.
