Russell leads morning times on Day 3 of Bahrain pre-season test
Mercedes driver George Russell recorded the quickest lap in the third and final morning session of the 2026 pre-season test at the Bahrain International Circuit, finishing ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen on the timing sheets. Most teams were active early, with several drivers posting laps as teams continue evaluating their new machinery under revised regulations. A brief stoppage occurred when Valtteri Bottas’s car halted on track, but running soon resumed.
