Red Bull’s long-serving chief designer Craig Skinner quits ahead of 2026 F1 season

Red Bull Racing has confirmed that Craig Skinner, its chief designer for the past two decades, has left the team with immediate effect just weeks before the 2026 Formula 1 season begins. Skinner, who joined Red Bull in 2006 and played a central role in multiple championship-winning cars, worked alongside key figures including former design chief Adrian Newey. Red Bull has yet to announce a successor as the squad prepares for final pre-season testing in Bahrain.
