Red Bull reveals weight challenge on 2026 F1 challenger

Red Bull’s technical director has acknowledged the team is facing issues with the weight of its RB22 car ahead of the 2026 Formula 1 season. With stricter limits reducing the minimum car mass from 798kg to 768kg, shed excess kilos has become a significant engineering focus. Pierre Wache stressed that struggling to hit the target is a common hurdle across the grid, and Red Bull is working to trim ballast to improve performance as pre-season progresses.
