Qatar denies capturing Iranian pilots and says rescuers found one dead
The country's foreign ministry explained that the aviators entered Qatari airspace earlier in the year and ignored attempts to communicate. Rescue crews later discovered a body, prompting officials to contact Iran to arrange returning the remains. A spokesperson posted on X on Saturday that authorities in Tehran have not answered an invitation to examine the operation together.
