Pubs and music venues get business rates cut from April

Today, Prime Minister Andy Burnham unveiled a new policy designed to reduce the financial burden of business rates on pubs, clubs, and live music venues throughout England. The government anticipates that this measure, involving an annual expenditure of approximately £100 million, will result in an average pub saving around £1,100 in taxation during the upcoming year.
