Prince William establishes £250,000 fund for Dartmoor village projects
Next week, Prince William is to introduce a new financial initiative, aiming to assist the secluded community situated close to Dartmoor prison. The Princetown Community Fund will provide at least £250,000 for local social, economic, and environmental projects. The £250,000 comes from the £1.5 million annual rent from the disused prison, which William no longer takes as personal income.
