Cadbury owner sues vegan chocolate maker over bar shape.
Catherine's Originals, a Sussex chocolate maker founded by Catherine Dodd in 2021, makes the O'bar, a 200g bar costing £9.20 for milk or plain. Mondelēz, the owner of Cadbury, has initiated legal proceedings in London's high court, alleging "passing off" and trademark infringement. Dodd says she strongly disagrees with the claim and is working with her legal team to defend her position.
