PlayStation Network down for thousands of UK users

Thousands of PlayStation Network users in the UK are reporting issues with the service today, with over 5,000 reports logged by noon on Downdetector. Certain users are unable to play digital games they possess, and a different group of users encounters a problem when attempting to purchase new games from the PlayStation Store.
