Philippines has no tsunami threat after 6.4-magnitude Sarangani quake

Phivolcs, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, stated that the Philippines faces no destructive tsunami threat. A magnitude 6.4 earthquake off Sarangani, Davao Occidental, occurred on Wednesday. The quake happened at 12:14 p.m., 37 kilometres southwest of Sarangani, with a 13-kilometre depth.
