Over 1,500 London bus drivers to strike over hot weather conditions

More than 1,500 Arriva North London bus drivers will strike across eight depots because of unbearable cab temperatures. Unite, their union, claims drivers have worked in over 40C heat, causing heat exhaustion and dehydration. The strikes are planned across August, September, and October, affecting some north and central London bus routes.
