Most arrested at Henry Nowak protests had past domestic abuse reports

Data from Hampshire police reveals that 22 of 37 people, or 59%, arrested in Southampton after the Henry Nowak murder sentencing had previous domestic abuse reports. Violent protests erupted on 2 June following the jailing of Vickrum Digwa, after police bodycam footage showed Nowak dying. Harry Varney and Dillon Crawford, both with domestic abuse histories, were jailed for their roles in the disorder.
