Meta bans some smart glasses content after harassment concerns
Meta is banning certain content filmed with its smart glasses from its platforms, following public backlash over privacy and surveillance worries. Instagram head Adam Mosseri said videos of people being harassed or taken advantage of, like pickup line content, will be removed. The policy comes after some users filmed strangers without their knowledge, leading to the glasses being called "pervert glasses."
