Manchester City re-established a significant advantage at the top of the WSL table after handing a crushing 6-0 defeat to last-place Leicester City. Manager Andree Jeglertz praised the "marvellous" performance, which featured 31 shots and a rapid burst of scoring during the first half. The result pushes City 11 points clear of Manchester United, leaving opponents with little hope of catching the current leaders.
