French President Emmanuel Macron has refused the resignation of Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez after a weekend of rioting, looting and arson across France. Nuñez admitted police lost control in some cities and said he felt responsible. The Élysée said continued command of law enforcement was needed. Macron instead ordered new tactics against rioters, while Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu chairs an emergency cabinet meeting on Monday.
