Liverpool's Dixons Broadgreen Academy not taking sixth formers from September

Dixons Broadgreen Academy in Liverpool will not recruit new sixth form students this September due to declining numbers. The academy trust stated that running the sixth form is "no longer viable", with recruitment into Year 12 ceasing in 2025. The school's status will change from 11-18 to 11-16.
