Katie Zacharia Named White House Press Secretary

US President Donald Trump has named conservative commentator Katie Zacharia as the next White House press secretary, succeeding Karoline Leavitt. Zacharia is a senior communications adviser at Trump Media and Truth Social and briefly served as a Homeland Security spokeswoman. Trump called her loyal to the MAGA movement. She thanked him online and said serving at America's 250-year mark is an honour for the country.
