Tens of thousands of police have locked down parts of Delhi ahead of a Gen Z-led Cockroach protest demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar resign over voter-roll revision claims. Permission for a Jantar Mantar rally was denied. Metro stations were shut and trains cancelled as barricades went up. The Cockroach Janata Party says it will march anyway. The Election Commission denies manipulating the voter lists.
