Jockey claims abuse at Cheltenham, then gets banned himself
A formal complaint and investigation have resulted from an accusation of rider abuse at Cheltenham Festival. Jockey Declan Queally, an Irish amateur, claimed Nico de Boinville "abused" him before the Turner Novices' Hurdle on day two. Stewards adjourned their investigation, and Queally received a one-day ban for breaching starting rules.
