JD Vance doubts livestreamed execution of Nidal Hasan will happen

US Vice-President JD Vance has expressed doubt that the Pentagon's plan to livestream a firing squad execution will actually go ahead. He declared on Friday that he would not be present to witness the carrying out of the death penalty for Nidal Hasan. The Pentagon announced earlier this week that Hasan's execution for the 2009 shooting of 13 unarmed soldiers is scheduled for 3 December.
