Williams chief James Vowles remains steadfast despite the Grove-based squad missing the Barcelona shakedown due to regulatory production delays. Vowles argues these immediate frustrations are essential for the team’s cultural overhaul. Citing McLaren’s recent title-winning resurgence as a blueprint, he believes Williams can challenge for world honours within five years. While admitting that catching the current frontrunners remains a monumental task, he insists the foundations are being laid for a return to the podium.
