Israeli police have arrested 10 suspects after masked settlers attacked a Washington Post photojournalist and French, Belgian and Polish diplomats in the occupied West Bank over the weekend. Photographer Heidi Levine needed surgery on her finger after being beaten while covering an olive harvest. The US demanded a crackdown, and its ambassador welcomed the arrests, although prosecutions of Israeli settlers for such attacks remain rare.
