Iran is reportedly buying up to 400 Chinese air defence missiles
The agreement, worth up to $70 million, aims to help Tehran protect its bases after five months of fighting with America and Israel. Unnamed insiders say a Hong Kong firm brokered the contract for the portable weapons, which soldiers use to shoot down drones. Beijing has called the reports totally false, and Pakistan denied claims that the military shipments would travel through its territory.
