Indonesia earthquake kills at least 14, prompts tsunami warning

A powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia's Flores island early on Saturday, causing widespread panic and damaging buildings. The nation's disaster mitigation agency, BPBD, reported at least 14 deaths and several injuries. A tsunami warning was issued but cancelled about three hours later because no significant sea level rise was detected.
