Iceland to open first UK high street shop in Falkland Islands
It opens just days after Argentine President Javier Milei stepped up claims that Argentina owns the islands. Richard Walker, Iceland's executive chair, will personally visit in early December to open the store with local partner Kelper Stores. Walker said opening the store is significant for Iceland's growth strategy and for expanding the company's international reach.
