Former footballer Patrick Lacey charged with attempted murder
Police charged Patrick Sean Lacey and three other men on Thursday following a violent incident in Liverpool. The 32-year-old, who previously competed professionally in both football and boxing, is charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting incident from last November. Officers allege two attackers used an electric bike to ambush the victim on a residential driveway. The injured man was hospitalized in serious condition after suffering two gunshot wounds.
