Ferrari to test rotating rear wing for drag reduction at Chinese GP.
Scuderia Ferrari is preparing to debut a bold aerodynamic concept at the Chinese Grand Prix by testing a rotating rear wing during Friday practice. The mechanism is designed to flip the wing nearly 180 degrees on straights to reduce drag and boost speed, then return it to a conventional position under braking to restore downforce for corners. The system, developed under Formula One’s 2026 active-aerodynamics rules, aims to enhance efficiency while preserving stability through turns.
