Emma Raducanu Wins Indian Wells Opener 6-1 6-3

British tennis player Emma Raducanu defeated Russian Anastasia Zakharova in her opening round at the Indian Wells WTA 1,000 event. The 23-year-old secured her victory in straight sets, by 6-1, 6-3. Raducanu stated her game felt strong and she was pleased with her preparation. She will play world number six Amanda Anisimova in the third round if the American wins her match.
