Deloitte fined £6.05 million for Go-Ahead Group audit failures

The UK's Financial Reporting Council penalised Deloitte for multiple auditing shortcomings concerning Go-Ahead Group's accounts from 2016 to 2020. Deloitte did not question two Go-Ahead rail subsidiaries which improperly retained over £30 million in public funds. The firm was also severely censured and must provide a report detailing the reasons for its audit deficiencies.
