Debenhams Group, the online fashion business that owns PrettyLittleThing, has reported a pre-tax profit of £28.3 million for the six months to the end of August. That compares with a loss of £17.9 million a year earlier. Bosses say it is the group's first profit since 2021, helped by cost cuts and selling parts of the business, and they are targeting more than £100 million.
