Fish and chips is Britain's national dish, according to a new YouGov survey published today. Almost half of adults, 49%, named the seaside favourite, far ahead of the roast dinner on 24%. Chicken tikka masala, often claimed online as the national dish, was picked by only 3%. However, roast dinners are eaten more often, with 52% of Britons having one at least once a month.
