A retired decorator from Woking has become a millionaire after his Pokémon card collection, left sealed in his attic for 15 years, sold for £1.56m at Ewbank's in Surrey. He bought the sets in the late 1990s as an investment. One set that cost him £300 fetched £75,000, while a complete master set including a Charizard card went for £100,000 in a claimed UK record.
