Colombia earthquake kills 111 people and collapses 61 buildings
The death toll has reached 111, with 87 people also hurt, Colombia's new president, Abelardo de la Espriella, confirmed. The 7.4 magnitude quake hit a sparsely populated province on Monday but was felt nationwide, causing 61 buildings to collapse. President de la Espriella has declared a national disaster to speed up rescue efforts and aid for affected communities.
